NH Fuel Watch started with a simple question: were there local heating-oil and propane providers that weren't showing up in the usual search results?
While looking for fuel suppliers in my area, I kept seeing many of the same companies and wanted a better way to discover other providers, compare publicly posted prices, and understand where they actually deliver.
What began as a personal research project grew into NH Fuel Watch. I built the site to bring provider-published prices, service-area information, and source links into one place, using consistent rules for what counts as a current public rate.
My hope is that NH Fuel Watch helps other New Hampshire residents discover options they might otherwise miss and makes the process of comparing fuel providers a little easier.
Why I built it
Public fuel prices and delivery coverage are often scattered across individual provider websites. I wanted a clearer view of what was posted publicly — without turning NH Fuel Watch into an ordering platform, marketplace, or brokerage.
How the information is collected
Observed prices are collected from publicly accessible provider websites. For each provider and fuel, NH Fuel Watch tracks the lowest qualifying publicly posted current per-gallon price, along with the source URL and when the site was checked. For the full standards — including provenance, effective dates, and service-area rules — see Methodology.
Independent by design
NH Fuel Watch is independent and is not affiliated with the fuel providers listed on this site. Prices, programs, eligibility requirements, and service areas can change, so please confirm current details directly with the provider before ordering.
